WHY DOES THEIR WORLD EXIST?

In the current climate of media, everyone is looking to get a headline at whatever the cost & that has now forced musicians to be less conversational & candid with the fear of being misunderstood. Ashley noticed a lack of depth and a lack of respect for the artist; asking questions they’ve answered 100 times, forcing conversations about things the artist did not want to talk about, & headlining mindless drama as a way to gain more clicks. She just wants these artists to tell their story with no agenda from the media. Long format interviews are one of her favorite things to watch/listen to & she was always craving more once the interview was finished. She just wants to provide something she enjoyed so much & give that experience to others.

“Music has been a major passion of mine ever since I could remember; live shows, curating playlists, awaiting album releases like it was Christmas, I would consume anything I could related to these artists, and I was always so fascinated by their creative life and equally who they are aside from music. Whose doesn’t want to relate to their favorite artists?! Do they like the same movies I do? Was their home life similar to mine? Why did they buy their first guitar? Are they going to talk about their next project they’ve been hinting at? Humanizing these musicians allowed me to feel connected to them, it made me hear their music different. I want to be able to provide that same experience to others. I want to be a place where someone can discover their next favorite artist.”
